This original image was shot by Nicky Lowe, taken at Muriwai Beach, New Zealand, this flax is native to Aotearoa, it is a mixed media artwork, combining a photo image with acrylic paint and texture painted over. Hand painted by the artist.

This piece brings in soft brown tones that fade out to yellow and then to green, a beautiful vinette of colour, engulfed by the spiralling shapes of the other leaves.
